New funding has been provided for social housing retrofit in London

The Mayor of London has been given powers to deliver £58.7million through a new Home Energy Saving Fund.  This scheme, which was launched on 22^nd July, is the first devolved funding for retrofit schemes.  It will support the provision of better insulation, solar panels and heat pumps for up to 5,000 households in social housing in the capital.
