This was made possible by a collaboration between housing association Broadacres, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, and Homes England.  It will see nine new homes being constructed on the site of former agricultural buildings around one mile inland from the coast in Skipsea.  Funding the £3.1million cost of the scheme was made up of £800,000 from the Council's Changing Coasts project (funded by DEFRA), a further £244,000 from the local authority, £1million from Homes England and just over £1million from Broadacres.
