Haringey Council is changing its approach to procuring supported housing for some homeless people

For residents with lower-level needs, contracts will transition to supported exempt accommodation and a social enterprise model.  This will enable more of the cost to be covered by Housing Benefit, which is funded by central government, freeing up the Council’s resources for investment in other services.
