Rough sleeping in Wales reached its highest figure for the month of May in five years

The estimated number of rough sleepers in the country rose by 24% over the year to reach 162.  Sian Aldridge of homeless charity The Wallich called on the Welsh Government to implement new homeless prevention laws, while increasing housing support and prevention budgets and delivering on its commitment to build an additional 20,000 social homes by 2030.
