In August, Orbit Group began the process of procuring contractors for programmes worth a combined £1.6billion for safety works and upgrades across its 46,000 homes.  Two linked contracts were opened for expressions of interest on the Find a Tender service.  The organisation has moved to longer-term regional partnerships to give contractors the confidence to invest in skills and supply chains, leading to better outcomes for residents.
