There will be changes to the inspection regime from April 2028

These will take effect once the current four-year cycle, in which all RPs are due to receive an inspection, is completed.  In August, Will Perry of the RSH told Inside Housing that “something different will happen because just repeating exactly the same thing will produce diminishing returns”.  Both economic and consumer standards are currently under review, with an evaluation of the impact of the consumer standards launched in June and a discussion document on changes to the economic standards published in the same month.
