[New own-name issues]

On 1st September, Clarion Housing Group issued a 15-year, £250million sustainable bond, with a coupon of 6.375% under its £3million EMTN programme.  The bond, which was rated A3 by Moody’s, A- by S&P and A+ by Fitch, had an indicative yield of 6.433%.  The organisation said that the funds would "be used for sustainable projects in line with our sustainable housing finance framework 2024 on a ‘use of proceeds’ basis, and we will set out the detail of how funds raised have been used in 2027".

In August, Orbit Group issued a 15-year sustainable bond for £250million.  The bond, which carries a coupon of 6.125%, was priced at 92 basis points over gilts.  This was the first bond issuance under Orbit’s Euro Medium-Term Note programme, launched at the end of March.  It was also issued under the organisation’s Sustainable Finance Framework.
