Rough sleeping in London fell in 2025/26

Other than during the pandemic, this was the first reduction since 2017.  12,938 people were recorded sleeping rough in London during the year, down by 2% on the 13,231 recorded in 2024/25, which was the highest figure since records began.  The only group to show an increase was women, where the number of rough sleepers increased from 2,149 in 2024/25 to 2,251 in 2025/26.
