Octopus Capital’s Affordable Housing Fund has funded the construction of 1,000 homes, the majority of which are owned by its for-profit provider, NewArch Homes.  On 8th July, the investment firm told Social Housing that it planned to reach 5,000 new homes within the next three years.

Flint Housing has acquired an additional 260 social rented homes in London.  In June, the for-profit provider announced that it had struck forward-funding agreements for 172 homes at Fairview’s Chase Farm development in Enfield and for 88 homes at Bellway’s Fielders Quarter scheme in Barking.
