| 2 Sep 2026 | The guidance, jointly published by the CIH and the Chartered Institute of Building on 2nd September, contains both a theoretical framework and practical guidance on how best to approach the issues of damp and mould. Building on guidance published by the CIH in 2022, it has been updated to take into account changes in the legal framework for damp and mould, including Awaab's Law and the Hazards in Social Housing (Prescribed Requirements) (England) Regulations 2025. It also includes a new section focused on the construction causes of damp and mould. |
