In September, the Peabody Trust pledged to support the military community by signing the Armed Forces Covenant.

This national pledge calls for people who serve or have served in the armed forces and their families to be treated with fairness and respect, and that they should not be disadvantaged because of their service.  The housing association is looking at how it can create better routes into housing careers for people leaving the armed forces, recognise the skills and experience that they bring, and support veteran-led businesses through its supply chain.
