The government’s housing strategy will be published in early September

This will give time for the new administration to sign it off.  On 14^th July, Steve Reed told the HCLG Committee that the new administration would also make an announcement on strategic partnership allocations under the Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP).  Although Andy Burnham’s team will have to make the final decisions on the SAHP, Mr Reed said that there was “no need for any delay in housebuilding getting going”.
