The HCLG Committee is asking questions about Vistry’s viability

On 14^th July, Lee Dillon, the Liberal Democrat MP for Newbury, asked whether the Department had done any contingency planning in relation to Vistry’s “financial difficulty”.  Permanent Secretary Will Garton refused to be drawn on the detail.  “We monitor the performance of the big house builders, keep a close eye on the market and are aware of all developments,” he said
