Sample Control 101:
Stock condition reports to the Board

An overview of the organisation's stock condition data, including damp and mould, is reported at appropriate levels and frequencies (typically annually to the Board).  This includes all material complaints about stock condition and sets out the financial implications of tackling properties in poor condition.   These reports include the following information:

  • The percentage of the stock that has been physically inspected internally within different periods of time
  • The approach to keeping stock information up to date between surveys
  • The percentage of stock that has an in-date energy efficiency rating of EPC C or above
  • The arrangements for ensuring the accuracy of the data
  • Assurance that the financial plan includes sufficient resources to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
  • Assurance that planned stock improvement programmes have been delivered in full.
