Asset management budgets have been reviewed to ensure that sufficient resources have been made available to tackle issues identified in fire risk assessments, including the replacement of fire doors, making good breaches of compartmentation, installing sprinkler systems and cladding removal. Advice is sought from procurement experts and the works are combined into a single programme where possible, in order to minimise the additional costs and disruption for residents.
