The organisation has adjusted its preparations for the implementation of the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard (MEES) in the light of the changes made between the consultation document and the final version.  This requires social homes to be rated EPC C against any one metric by 1st April 2030, and then to achieve an EPC C rating against a second metric of the organisation’s choosing by 1st April 2039.  The organisation has developed mechanisms for selecting for each property which of the three EPC metrics will be the basis of compliance with MEES from 2030, plus the second metric to be used from 2039.
