The organisation has investigated whether the Developer Pledge provides an opportunity to recoup from developers the cost of fire safety remediation already undertaken.

Buildings with unsafe cladding that are due to be remediated via the Developer Pledge are treated as materially higher risk than those that have government funding.  The longer remediation timelines for such buildings, requiring interim safety measures to be in place for longer, are reflected in financial plans.
