A new Housing Ombudsman has been appointed on an interim basis

Andrea Keenoy, the organisation’s current Chief Operating Officer, will take up the role on 1^st August for up to six months.  At an HCLG Committee session on 14^th July, it was revealed that the government’s latest recruitment process had been withdrawn after the government decided that the criteria for the position should be amended to require a greater level of experience in the housing sector.
